Setting the fundamental basic goals is important in life.
S M A R T Goals
Start by setting a simple goal like getting up 30 minutes earlier to relax and breath to help you focus better in school versus getting up 5-10 minutes before class begins. That’s an attainable goal and measurable.
Goals helps you focus and puts your attention on what your purpose is and how to attain that goal.
Then set those goals needed for entering into college. We teach this and more at TCY.

Facilitators of the “Cash and Carry” Financial Workshop at 2019 Youth Summit held at NVCC in Woodbridge VA.
Financial literacy at its best. Teaching the youth how to be financially prepared beyond high school.
Financial literacy is lacking in low-income communities and thus causes a history of financial failure and continued welfare dependency and living from paycheck to paycheck.
At TCY, we aim to teach our youth the financial literacy to break these chains and learn all about credit score, credit cards, loans, APR, banks and credits union, etc and retirement, starting at the beginning of their first paycheck.
Basic Life Skills Workshop
Learning how to sew a button or hem a skirt or pant leg is something our youth so often go without learning.
TCY realizes this is a Basic Life Skill that’s so often missed. Well it’s apart of our workshops that we teach the youth.
