TCYouth Inc.'s monthly youth meetings are held the 2nd Sunday of each month from 3:00pm - 5:00pm.
Our Next Youth Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, February 27, 2022.
The girls will have a "Sit, Sip and Chat" Mentor Meeting.
The fellas will have a "Basketball Jam" at the Elevate Sports Gym in Lorton, VA. Same Time.
Introducing Tomorrow's Cultivating Youth(TCYouth) Inc.'s "Youth of the Month" Program. Letting our youth know we see them and hear them and they deserve to be rewarded for OUTSTANDING leadership, community service, exceptional GPAs and more.
Recognizing a youth's achievements demonstrates personal growth and community contributions within themselves. It's the smaller successes in life that boost a child's self-esteem.
ELIGIILITY AND NOMINATION
- Any youth demonstrating the following for the quarter are eligible:
a) excellence in leadership
b) community service (TCYouth Inc. or any outside non-profit
organization) of at least a minimum of 5 hours per quarter
c) approved academics (A GPA of 3.0 or above) [Report cards
must be presented for approval.]
- A more detailed list of qualifying criteria may be developed by the Youth of the Month committee at a future date.
- A point system based on participation, good sportsmanship, good citizenship, TCYouth Inc.'s attendance, and academics status, will be developed for selecting winners.
- A list of the top three to five candidates will be submitted to the judges for a final quarterly selection. Judges should base their decisions on a candidate’s well-rounded qualifications, scores and not solely on one particular outstanding achievement.
YOUTH OF THE YEAR
The Youth of the Month/Quarter will logically lead to a Youth of the Year recipient. The program committee should select a panel of judges who will be responsible for reviewing all of the winners. When the most outstanding student is selected for this prestigious award, a special Youth of the Year Award banquet will be organized. The banquet will feature a keynote speaker; a distinguished educator or other prominent person in the community. The honoree will receive an official TCYouth Inc.’s “Youth of the Year” plaque, a gift certificate, jacket and a $500 scholarship.

Hello Everyone, I'm honored to have the pleasure to be the President of TCY's Ladies in Transition Committee. My name is Jayla Hawkins and I'm 15 years o age and attend Brooke Pointe High School. I'm also the cheerleader for Brooke Point High School.
I want to pursue my career as a Traveling Nurse. I'm looking forward to leading you all, and not letting you or myself down.
This is a big step for me because I'm extremely shy and I'm not good at talking in front of people. I'm excited to get started and not let you or myself down.

Hi, my name is Al-Sadiq Azeez and I was born in Fairfax Virginia and I’ve lived here since I was born.
I am 16 years old turning 17 in 2 months. I’m an outgoing person and love to help around and do whatever I can do to be useful. I also like track and basketball but I only run track.
I enjoy being a leader and being a good example to my peers.
Learning the career path to becoming a CRNA! It was very interesting to see so many of our young men interested in CRNA Career Path!
The “Brothers of Change” is lead by their peer officers under the supervision of the Board of Directors -Rolando Brooks, VP!
The L.I.T. Committee is under the direction of our very own Exec. Board of Director, Tracey Thomas, 1st VP and Co-Founder.
These awesome young ladies come together monthly to discuss today's peer pressure, suicide awareness, challenges, "Girl Talk" and morel. The youth meetings are conducted by the youth for the youth.

Also partnered with Navy Federal Credit Union to teach our youth about financial literacy.
